Kitchen furniture

Bespoke kitchen furniture built around the way your family actually lives, cooks, and gathers. Every piece is handmade from solid wood to fit your space exactly.

A kitchen built around how you live

Whether you're hosting Sunday lunch or juggling a school-morning rush, your kitchen needs to keep up. We design bespoke kitchen islands, fitted cabinets, and worktops built around your routine, not the other way round.

For worktops and kitchen islands, we recommend hard-wearing species like oak, walnut, or acacia, prized for their durability and food-safe finish. For cabinetry and floating shelves, choose from 14 further wood types and finishes, including matte hardwax, durable polyurethane, or sleek epoxy resin.

Every piece is handcrafted in our Surrey workshop from sustainably sourced timber, so your kitchen is as durable as it is distinctive.

FAQs about fitted bedroom furniture

How much does bespoke kitchen furniture cost?

Cost depends on the size of the piece, the wood species and finish you choose, and any added features like integrated winestorage or seating. Because every piece is made to measure, we don't work from a fixed price list - get in touch for a detailed quote based on your exact requirements.

What's the difference between bespoke and fitted kitchen furniture?

Fitted kitchen furniture is designed to fit a specific space, but often uses standard cabinet sizes adapted to fill the gaps. Bespoke kitchen furniture, like ours, is built from scratch to your exact dimensions, with no compromise on size, layout, or finish.

What is the best wood for a kitchen worktop?

For worktops, we recommend oak, walnut, or ash: hard-wearing hardwoods that stand up well to daily use once properlysealed. Oak is prized for its strength and classic grain, walnut for its rich, dark tone, and ash for its pale, contemporary look.

Are floating shelves practical in a kitchen?

With a little planning, yes. They're ideal for everyday dishes, glassware, and items you use often, and they open up a kitchen visually. We'd recommend keeping them away from the hob, where grease and steam build up faster, and pairing them with some closed cabinet storage for anything you'd rather keep out of sight.

How do I maintain solid wood worktops and cabinets?

Wipe down with a soft, damp cloth and avoid harsh or abrasive cleaners, especially on oiled worktops. We recommend reapplying the oil or wax finish every few months on high-use countertops, and less frequently on cabinetry and shelving.
